13 State Cyber Protection Centre Specialists Awarded Qualification Centre Certificates for Network and System Administrators
A regular graduation of specialists took place at the Qualification Centre for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity, which operates under the State Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
Following successful attestation, professional qualification certificates, aligned with the professional standard "Network and System Administrator," were awarded to 13 specialists from The State Cyber Protection Centre of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
The official awarding of certificates took place at the Qualification Centre for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity.
It is worth noting that in March of this year, 4 research and teaching staff members from the departments of the Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute also received professional qualification certificates according to the professional standard "Network and System Administrator."
The Qualification Centre for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity has already received nearly 50 applications from individuals wishing to undergo attestation and obtain certificates upon successful completion.
Among these, 24 applications are from the Department of State Control in the Sphere of Information Protection and Security Audit and the Department of Information Protection for attestation under the new professional standard "Information Technology Auditor (with Cybersecurity)", corresponding to the professional qualifications "Information Security Management Systems Auditor" and "Lead Information Security Management Systems Auditor."
The only Qualification Centre for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity in Ukraine was inaugurated in June last year at the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, with the support of the USAID Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Activity. The Centre was founded as part of a SSSCIP project aimed at creating a unified system of professional standardization and attestation of personnel in the field of cybersecurity and information protection, and also with the goal of developing and implementing the National (Sectoral) Qualification Framework for Cybersecurity.
